Eligible Applicants
High school seniors and current College of Agriculture students residing in Indiana with a program of study listed as: Agricultural Communications, Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Education, or Animal Sciences. Cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale required.


Selection Criteria

  1. Demonstration of leadership skills and leadership potential
  2. preference given to applicants who have demonstrated leadership skills in 4-H and/or FFA.
  3. Submit a 2 page essay on "What makes an outstanding leader"

Amount
Typically $1,000.00; may vary.


# Of Awards
At least one in each of these programs of study: Agricultural Communication, Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Education, or Animal Sciences.


Deadline
January 11 for enrolled students
February 15 for incoming freshmen.

College of Agriculture Scholarship and Awards Application, which is available on the College of Agriculture's website. Submit an 2 page essay on "What make an outstanding leader" to Lori Barber, Scholarship Coordinator, in AGAD 121 by January 11 for current students and February 1 for high school seniors.
