Eligible Applicants
Eligible applicants are undergraduate Purdue students majoring in biochemistry in the College of Agriculture. The Scholarship will be awarded during the Spring semester each year to a continuing student, and will be applied toward the student's tuition and fees during the subsequent academic year.

Selection Criteria
To qualify, a biochemistry major must also have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher on the 4.0 scale and be a sophomore, junior, or senior in the year for which the scholarship is awarded.

Amount
The Head of the Department of Biochemistry or designee will determine number of Matchette Scholarships awarded each year and the amount of each scholarship and select the recipients, all with the approval of the Dean of the College of Agriculture
