Bachelor of Science Degree

Wildlife

The wildlife program prepares students for professional careers in wildlife research, management, and education. Students apply biological, ecological, economic, and social knowledge to develop and administer wildlife management plans. Graduates receive a Bachelor of Science degree. This Department of Forestry and Natural Resources curriculum has common core requirements with the fisheries and aquatic sciences, forestry, and natural resources curricula. Sustainable management of natural resource systems—focusing on forests, watersheds, and associated flora and fauna to meet the needs of society---is emphasized.
