Harvard Divinity School Diversity and Explorations Program
October 22 - 24, 2008 (Wednesday - Friday)
Time: Will be provided to selected participants
Cambridge, MA
The program's primary aim is to provide outreach to students from groups generally underrepresented in theological education. It is available to all students from backgrounds which suggest a commitment to issues of diversity and social justice and an interest in the fields of religion, theology, or ministry. Forty (40) students will be selected from a competitive application process and all participants will be provided with travel and lodging for three nights.

Mitchell Scholarship

Must apply through campus representative by above deadline, YONG 144
Mitchell Scholars study for one year at the graduate level in any discipline offered by institutions of higher learning in Ireland and Northern Ireland. The Mitchell Scholarship provides tuition, housing, a living expenses stipend, and an international travel stipend.

Rhodes Scholarship

Rhodes Scholars are elected for two years of graduate study at the University of Oxford, with the possibility of renewal for a third year. All educational costs, such as matriculation, tuition, laboratory and certain other fees, are paid on the Scholar's behalf by the Rhodes Trustees.

Marshall Scholarship

Marshall Scholars study for two years at the graduate level at an UK institution. The scholarship covers University fees, cost of living expenses, annual book grant, thesis grant, research and daily travel grants, fares to and from the United States and, where applicable, a contribution towards the support of a dependent spouse.

US Student Fulbright Program

The US Student Fulbright program allows graduating seniors and graduate students to take graduate level coursework, conduct research, or teach English abroad for one academic year.

Carnegie Jr. Fellows Program

Carnegie Junior Fellows work as research assistants to the Endowment's senior associates on projects such as non-proliferation, democracy building, trade, China-related issues, South Asian issues and Russian/Eurasian studies. Positions are paid, full-time positions for one year, and a full benefits package is provided..

Harry S. Truman Scholarship

The Harry S. Truman Scholarship is awarded to college juniors with exceptional leadership potential who are committed to careers in government, the nonprofit or advocacy sectors, education or elsewhere in the public service.
