After a short, general tour, you'll see one of those projects—the development of a tractor-based automated weed mapping machine designed to quickly and automatically detect, precisely position, and image nearly every weed in a field. Data from the machine could lead to more efficient crop management strategies. In addition, CAL MAR Mapping Services will demonstrate the use of an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) to acquire multi-spectral photo images. Examples images will be on display.
