College-wide input sessions for Ag Dean search set

College of Agriculture Faculty and Staff,

The search committee has begun the critical process of recruiting the next Dean of the College of Agriculture at Purdue University.  We want faculty and staff to be involved in this important process.

Many of you are currently involved in the strategic planning process for the College. We will arrange to use the information developed through this planning process to generate discussion about the future of the College of Agriculture and how it relates to what characteristics we should look for in our next dean. Two brainstorming sessions are scheduled and it is our hope that you will be able to participate in one of the sessions.

The discussions will be held in the Deans Auditorium (PFEN 241) during the times below:

Tuesday, September 2 from 10:30-12:00 noon
Friday, September 5 from 1:30-3:00 pm

Extension field staff may either attend in person or watch the presentation streamed live on the web at:  mms://video.dis.purdue.edu/agcomm. The notes from the discussion will be emailed to all faculty and staff afterwards. Questions from remote sites during the sessions will be accepted by email only; send your questions to dmcclure@purdue.edu.

Please hold these dates on your calendar and plan to attend one of the sessions. We’ll be sure to send out a reminder closer to September.

Thank you for your assistance in this important task.
