Wildlife Detectives

This activity gives the class a chance to work on a variety of projects that might attract wildlife to an observable area near the school (or near students' homes). Activities range from simply providing a source of water for wildlife to creating an inviting habitat for reptiles and amphibians. After completing whatever project(s) the teacher decides to undertake, the students are asked to observe the area over a period of time and record and discuss any increases/decreases of wildlife activity that occur.
