The David C. Pfendler
Hall of Agriculture was dedicated at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, April 17.
Originally built in 1901, Pfendler is the second-oldest building
on the West Lafayette campus. Restoration, renovation and expansion
was a three-year project
and cost $16 million.
Speakers at the dedication included Purdue President
Martin C. Jischke; Victor Lechtenberg, dean of the School of Agriculture;
Dennis Le Master, head of the Department of Forestry and Natural
Resources; Deborah Triant, graduate student; and Peter and David
Pfendler, who are sons of the building's namesake.
