- Marisol Sepulveda's work was featured in the Indianapolis Star on Tuesday, April 17.
- Linda Prokopy and the capstone course poster session were featured on the TV 18 News on Wednesday, April 18.
- Shorna Broussard was promoted to Associate Professor.
- The Spring Awards Ceremony honored many individuals for outstand performance during the past year!

- Gene Rhodes received the Hoosier Wildlife Award at the spring meeting of the IN chapter of The Wildlife Society.
- Purdue and Zach Lowe were recognized by BASF as a 2006 Quality Vegetation Management Project Habitat Awards winner.
- Connie Fir (aka - Rita McKenzie) appeared with Pat Sullivan at the CrumPlex during the Flower and Patio Show in Indianapolis
