1 course in dendrology or plant taxonomy
1 course in silviculture or forest ecosystems
1 course in general or plant ecology
1 course in forest measurements, natural resources assessment
or statistics
1 course in plant physiology, genetics, plant anatomy, morphology,
cytology, mycology, biochemistry, or soils, depending on
the area of specialization

Fisheries
and Aquatic Sciences (aquaculture,
fisheries biology and management, limnology)
1 year college-level biology

1 course in aquatic science (fisheries biology or management,
