EXTENSION OR CONTINUING EDUCATION RESPONSIBILITIES
Cassens services as a teacher and coordinator of numerous industry oriented educational programs.  These programs can be divided into two types.  The first are short courses which provide basic information on wood to industry and consumers.  This information helps improve the efficiency of how wood products are manufactured and used.  The second group of programs are state-of-the-art programs which provide wood manufacturers with the most current technology and application of new ideas, processes and equipment.  Recent examples of each follows:
