Welcome to
our home page!
The Purdue Sub-unit of the American Fisheries
Society was established in 1992 and has been growing ever since. Our
mission is to help promote education and gain experience in the field
of fisheries and aquatic sciences for Purdue students. Through projects
such as our Indian Creek and Purdue Pond sampling surveys, field trips
to various fisheries related operations, and functions such as state
chapter meetings, we hope to achieve our goal of providing a forum for
the increased understanding of fisheries and related fields.
This web site provides useful information regarding our student organization, other fisheries groups, and employment opportunities. Select any of the boxes to the left and check it out! Look at Meetings to see the minutes and times. Check out events to see photos of past events and what is comming up.
