Awards and Grants
- Jim McKenna was awarded the American Chestnut Foundation's Volunteer Award at the TACF annual meeting in Pittsburgh. Jim received this award in consideration of all that he has done for TACF above and beyound what might be expected as a result of his position with HTIRC. (November 2009)
- The Purdue University Chapter of Sigma Xi, the scientific research society, conducted a poster competition for the 2008 Graduate Students Research Awards.
Ningxia Du received an honorable mention in the Life Sciences Area for the competition. (February 27, 2008)
