DIVERSITY IN AGRICULTURE
A Diversity Action Team in Agriculture was formed to assist in the implementation of strategies noted in the College of Agriculture Strategic Plan. Team members are currently serving as liaisons to their academic departments and assisting with the formulation and implementation of departmental strategic plans related to diversity. As these strategic plans become integrated and activated, we expect to see substantial synergy between the departments and the College diversity programs. The DATA committee promotes efforts to increase multicultural awareness at Purdue University, within the College of Agriculture. We strive to value and promote diversity within our academic departments, and create an inviting climate in which to live and work in our community.
