DIVERSITY IN AGRICULTURE
The College of Agriculture is determined to create a climate that fosters and values diversity and welcomes and supports all students, faculty and staff.
Agriculture's Strategic Plan includes diversity as one of the highest priorities.
"The College of Agriculture continues to renew the Land Grant tradition, a tradition that opens doors of opportunity. As it enters the twenty first century, Agriculture welcomes new activities to its impressive range of programs. Fostering and valuing diversity is central to Agriculture's commitment to the present and promise to the future. I am delighted to praise and to celebrate the College of Agriculture as a strong partner in promoting diversity at Purdue University."

"The College of Agriculture is driven by educating students, serving our state and promoting discovery and innovation in agriculture, food and natural resources – without diversity of thought, backgrounds and experiences, these missions are difficult to accomplish.
We are increasing the diversity of our students, faculty and staff and working hard to build awareness of diversity issues within the College of Agriculture. We recognize that everyone within Purdue Agriculture benefits from a climate that fosters and values diversity."
