    College to honor distinguished alums

Purdue Agriculture will induct the latest class into its exclusive club when it presents nine Distinguished Agricultural Alumni Awards on March 3.

A 2:30 p.m. reception and a 3:30 p.m. awards convocation are scheduled for the North Ballroom of the Purdue Memorial Union. Both events are free and open to the public.

The DAA award honors mid-career graduates who have made significant contributions to their profession or society in general.

Award winners are nominated to a selection committee comprised of the dean of agriculture, four associate deans, 12 department heads and three unit directors.
