Córdova is flanked by her husband, Christian J. Foster (left), and members of the board of trustees.
Córdova has been chancellor at the University of California-Riverside since 2002. Seated next to her husband is student trustee Rachel Cumberbatch, BS ’07.
McGinley joins the audience in applauding Córdova and Foster.
Cumberbatch presents Córdova a Purdue letterman’s jacket and quips that it will help her adjust to the Indiana weather.
Cumberbatch says she thinks Córdova and Foster will be a perfect fit for Purdue.
Córdova’s sense of humor kept the audience laughing during a question-and-answer session.
