Class Notes continued from previous page J. Craig Newby, BS ’99, Cloverdale, Ind., is the new assistant principal at Riverton Parke Junior/Senior High School in Montezuma, Ind. He and his wife, Kelly, have a new addition to their family, Madison Ann, born Aug. 19, 2004.
Jill M. (Summerlot) Early, BS ’00, Peru, Ind., and her husband, Brian, have a son, Cameron, who was born July 22, 2003. Keith Dyer, BS ’01, Tampa, Fla., is a designer for Barbaron Inc., a golf course design and construction firm. Alisha J. Will, BS ’01, worked at Augusta National Golf Club in Georgia for the 1998 and 1999 Masters Tournaments before returning to Indiana to work at Crooked Stick Golf Club and to finish her Purdue coursework. She then joined the Turf Specialties sales team in December 2003, and she sells chemicals, fertilizers and supplies to golf courses throughout Indiana. She lives in Zionsville, Ind., with her Persian cat. Amanda (Phillips) Borne, BS ’02, Decatur, Ind., married Micah Borne, BS ’01, on March 5. He is an operations manager for Helena Chemical Co. She is a farm loan officer with USDA Farm Services Agency. Krista A. Echterling, BS ’02, Dumas, Texas, has accepted a position as operations supervisor for Monsanto’s sorghum facility. Suzanne (Bojko) Latino, BS ’02, Indianapolis, married Stephen Latino (BA ’01) on Oct. 16, 2004, in Waikoloa, Hawaii. Patricia A. Lieb, BS ’02, Elk Grove Village, Ill., is a membership manager with the Realtor Association of NorthWest Chicagoland.
Cletus N. Angermeier, CERT ’46, Evansville, Ind., died June 26, 2003. Munns Andrew Caldwell, BS ’31, Lebanon, Ind., died Feb. 7. He was 95. He worked with Associated Seed Growers, and later as a Purdue Extension agent in Lake and Boone counties. He retired in 1973. Elmer Clark “Steve” Stevenson, 89, died Feb. 26 in Corvallis, Ore. A professor of horticulture and former head of the horticulture department, he was on the Purdue faculty from 1948 to 1967. |
