Gracela Escobar holds her 1-year-old son, James,
whose stroller was turned into a stuffed animal cart after his
father, John, hit a hot streak at the basketball-shooting venue
at the fair. The Escobars are from El Salvador.
Steven and Katarina Rieker, half of the 9-year-old Rieker quadruples
from Columbus, Ind., got some shuteye in the cattle barn next
to their prize-winning Angus cattle during the fair's opening
day Aug. 8.
