Notes to Zen 2008 and the microscope
You can download the ZEN LE 2008 image veiwer to analyze data on your own computer. It has the basic analyses tools only.
Important Note: Before installing ZEN 2008 LE onto an offline workstation/computer, please use the Windows Uninstaller to uninstall all previous versions of ZEN 2007 LE. Please be sure to not install the ZEN 2008 LE onto an already running confocal hardware system with ZEN 2007 or ZEN 2008. ZEN 2008 LE is meant to be used on offline workstations/computers only.
If using Windows-based user accounts, please be sure to right-click on the installed ZEN 2008 LE folder and give all users the permission rights to "read", "write", and "modify" under that folder.
For full analysis tools, the Zeiss Imaging Workstation is available.

This epifluorescence microscope can be used for pre-screening samples before CLSM imaging as well as for imaging samples. PDF
It is currently equipped with a Spot-2 camera.
Spot-2 camera
The SPOT-2 is a digital CCD camera with a dual position color filter providing both color and monochrome images. This system has Auto Exposure and White Balance. PDF
