| Dr.
Ramaswamy is responsible for leadership of research
programs in agriculture, food and natural resources including
fiscal management, and a number of regulatory functions assigned
by the Indiana State Legislature. His responsibilities include:
program development and overall direction, budget, planning,
allocation of resources, support of faculty in the aggressive
pursuit of extramural funds, accountability to supporting
clientele, and general advocacy for agriculture, food and
natural resources research in Indiana . He oversees the research
budget, grants and contracts, eight regional Purdue Agricultural
Centers, research farms, campus-based research facilities,
and a number of research centers. He also coordinates agricultural
research with the College of Consumer and Family Sciences
and School of Veterinary Medicine, and assures effective linkage
with other campus research communities and Cooperative Extension.

| Dr.
Martin is responsible for all federal formula funded
research project (Hatch, Animal Health, and McIntyre-Stennis)
reviews and reporting to USDA-CSREES as well as multi-state
research projects for the College of Agriculture , College
of Consumer and Family Sciences, and School of Veterinary
Medicine . He provides liaison with several Indiana organizations
including the Indiana Soybean Alliance, Indiana Pork Producers
Association, Agricultural Alumni Seed Improvement Association,
Indiana Crop Improvement Association, and the Farm Policy
Study Group. He is active in various capacities with the North
Central Regional Association of Agricultural Experiment Station
Directors (NCRA). He continues to supervise the research of
graduate students in the Department
of Agricultural Economics, serves on the Purdue University
Institutional Bio-safety Committee and is chair of the Purdue
University Department of Bands Advisory Board. He is involved
in several international activities, especially in Latin America. |

| Dr.
Linton works with the College of Agriculture and
other schools and colleges on campus to foster interdisciplinary
food safety and food microbiology research programs. He also
has a great interest in helping faculty integrate research
and outreach programs to meet our goals outlined in our strategic
plan. Outside of his responsibilities in ARP, Dr. Linton directs
the Center for Food
Safety Engineering, which focuses on developing more effective
and rapid detection systems for foodborne hazards. His research
program focuses on novel interventions to reduce pathogens
on produce and make fruit and vegetable products safer to
consume.

Carl
is responsible for assisting College of Agriculture faculty
members in acquisition of grant
funding for Learning, Discovery and Engagement activities.
His duties range from communication about grants as they are
announced through proposal writing and editing prior to submission.
High-priority areas include proposal development for new faculty
members, coordination of multi-disciplinary and multi-institutional
sponsored programs, and interaction with program sponsors
and other stakeholders. |

| Jerry
is responsible for the overall management of the
eight regional Purdue
Agricultural Centers (PAC) across the state. Efforts are
directed towards facilitating research and Extension activities
at the PACs and addition to land and facility planning for
regional and departmental PACs and forestry properties in
the College of Agriculture . Jerry is also involved with legal
and regulatory issues and agricultural development opportunities
as it pertains to cropping and animal operations within the
college. Other responsibilities include administrative assistance
for the Indiana Mint Market Development & Research Program,
the Indiana Turkey Market Development Program, and the Indiana
Wine Grape Program. |

| Dr.
Hawkins
works with the staff at the eight regional Purdue Agricultural
Centers (PAC) across the state to facilitate research and
extension activities at the Ag Centers. His responsiblities
include helping staff develop pest, nutrient and manure management
plans, providing expertise in the production of bulk commodities,
fruits, vegetables, and livestock in support of research activities,
along with crop marketing and purchasing inputs for the Ag
Centers. Dr. Hawkins is also involved in developing crop scouting
methods and field plot techniques utilizing site-specific
and GPS based tools. He also helps staff in the College of
Agriculture coordinate building and renovation projects. |
