An annual Purdue extravaganza, Spring Fest draws some 30,000 people and is particularly popular with the younger set. An insect-petting zoo, make your own dinosaur bones exhibit, space-food display, brick-building competition and cricket-spitting contest were among the crowd-pleasing activities.
