Ready for retirement?
With the collapse of energy giant Enron and
the downturn in the Stock Market, many Americans learned
a lesson in retirement planning the hard way.
More Americans will face a longer period of
retirement than ever before, but few receive retirement planning
education. Purdue Extension has developed "Planning
for a Secure Retirement," a Web-based course that addresses
issues related to retirement planning and helps people set
up an individual retirement plan. Ten learning modules allow
users to select topics based on their individual circumstances
and priorities.
