Purdue Extension offers resources to cope with financial crisis

Agricultural producers and families have questions about the financial crisis and Purdue Extension is providing answers.

The Purdue Extension Financial Crisis Web site has specific information for farm producers on how to better manage their operations with regard to buying inputs, handling loans and lenders, and ways to operate more efficiently.

Hosted by Purdue Agricultural Economics, the site provides links to news articles, publications, and videos to help farm producers better understand the issues and make informed decisions.

The Financial Security for All Community Page, hosted by Purdue Extension through the online eXtension network, has links to resources on consumer credit, estate planning, how to talk to children about money, home ownership, saving and investing, and other topics.

This site draws on the expertise of 260 experts representing land-grant universities from 44 states and one U.S. territory. It also features a place where visitors can ask an expert.

Purdue Extension is committed to providing resources to help people during these tough financial times. Keep an eye on the Purdue Extension home page for news and information.
