Failure Is Not An Option
The Story of Apollo 13
The 2007 Purdue Ag Fish Fry offers a rare opportunity to hear two of NASA's most famous Apollo personalities, Captain James Lovell and Gene Kranz, as they give a rare joint presentation. Lovell became forever a part of American history as he transmitted those now famous words, "Houston, we have a problem." And Kranz's career was put on the world stage as he led NASA's tiger Team that successfully returned the Apollo 13 crew to Earth. Lovell co-authored Lost Moon, the story of the famous mission. And Kranz chronicled his career in the best-selling Failure is Not an Option.
