The Purdue University School of Agriculture and Purdue University Libraries are pleased to be a Plant Management Network (PMN) Partner. The Plant Management Network is an online-only source for applied plant management and agricultural information. PMN currently contains three peer-reviewed journals; a searchable Plant Science Database of materials from institutional partners; PMN Image Collections; and a Field Trials area containing Fungicide and Nematicide Tests, Biological and Cultural Tests, and Variety Trials. PMN's current peer-reviewed journals are Crop Management, Plant Health Progress, and Forage and Grazinglands.
Partnership provides all Purdue University faculty, students, and staff (including county extension personnel) the following benefits:
- Complimentary unlimited access to all PMN subscription content for use in research, teaching, extension, presentations and all other noncommercial uses.
- Supports full color photographs and pubilcation with no page charge.
- a searchable database of PMN articles and web-based materials submitted from PMN partner sites.
- Access PMN's Image Collections of digital plant and agricultural images.
Note: All computers connected to the Purdue ITaP network will automatically be granted access to the PMN subscriptions without having to log in. If you are accessing PMN from outside the Purdue network, you will first need to obtain a Complimentary Personal Subscription. A Complimentary Personal Subscription not only grants you access to PMN from anywhere outside the Purdue network, but also enrolls you in the PMN Update Newsletter, which alerts you to new articles and updates.
